Dr Ravi Gujjula
​
Dr. Ravi Gujjula is a seasoned academic and technology professional with a diverse career spanning public, private, and government sectors. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Ravi has held several leadership positions that bridge industry, education, and governance in India’s rapidly evolving innovation and skill development ecosystem.
He has previously served as Additional Private Secretary (PS) to the Hon’ble Minister for MSME, SERP,NRI, Government of AP, Chief General Manager – Technical, Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), Director – Promotions, Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy (APITA), Department of IT, Electronics & Communications, Government of Andhra Pradesh
Dr. Ravi hails from Pedda Lebaka village, Vallur Mandal, Kadapa District, in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati, and a Master's degree in Engineering from Osmania University College of Technology, Hyderabad. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad.
He began his professional journey as a Project Engineer Trainee at SARACA Labs. He later joined SVEC, Suryapet as an Assistant Professor, quickly advancing to the role of Associate Professor. Transitioning into the corporate world, Dr. Ravi worked in key roles including Software Engineer, Team Lead, and Project Manager at leading multinational companies such as Capgemini, IBM, and NTT Data. Post-Ph.D., he returned to academia, serving as Head of the Department, K L University, Andhra Pradesh, Principal at various Private engineering colleges in Hyderabad and Principal, GIET College of Engineering( Godavari Global University), Rajamahendravaram (Rajahmundry), Andhra Pradesh
Currently, as Chief – Skill Development & Industry Connect, Dr. Ravi leads national-level initiatives to enhance employability, foster innovation, and build strong industry-academia partnerships across Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India multi-disciplinary institutions .
His commitment to empowering students with future-ready skills and his vision for inclusive technological growth continue to make a meaningful impact on India's education and startup ecosystem.
